i was at some department store or something and a clip on bow fell off my hoodie a while back and i guess i just hadn't noticed. you found me at the checkout and cut someone in line to give it back to me. i didn't know who you were and almost found it intimidating but the first thing i said was thank you and that i like your hair, and you looked at me confused, and i was a bit confused too as to why i'd say something like that. the guy you cut in line got agitated but you ignored him and kept hovering around me while i checked out but you kindly looked away when i had to type in my pin. but once i finished, you followed me outside and i was scared but i kept talking to you a while more. we talked about art, all types, i told you that i like to write and you asked to see and i refused i asked if you do art and you said no but that you like galleries. we exchanged emails. wish i knew how that went.

i was in some weird city in japan with this girl i met off of tumblr. she was dressed in a fawn printed jacket with a chocolate shaped shoulder bag. we talked like we had known eachother our whole lives. we went to a store, some sort of store that sold nothing but chocolate and i tried to pay for my own and she stopped me, she pulled out yen coins and paid exclusively in coins even though it was easier to pay in bills.
i had a q-pot phone, the white chocolate flip phone and she had the milk chocolate smart phone model. i dont know what year it was. whenever i asked she would redirect with "dont worry" and she wasn't japanese either. she told me she's from berlin, we went to a resturant and it was in this huge metropolian city, it was futuristic almost and the billboards were so beautiful to me... for some reason, they were the most beautiful ive ever seen. the resturant we went to was better classified as a bar but if a bar didn't sell alcohol. they specialized in soda floats.
i ordered melon and she ordered strawberry. and as i took a sip i became aware of it being a dream. i told her "i dont want to go home" and she told me "you dont have to."
and i cried and then i woke up. and i can't get her out of my head. i don't know you. who are you ?

we were at the mall but then we got bored and went to a department store. nameless. but it looked like a more confusing-scary target. i walked in and i was terrified for some reason and you kept insisting that i calm down and go get myself something i want == you'd pay. so i let go of your arm that i was clinging onto for safety and go to the beauty section (of course) and i get shampoo... it's very expensive. $40 when anywhere else it was $10. everything felt weird and there were no customers and every employee was stone faced. i wandered around trying to find you but the store grew and grew and more aisles seemingly sprouted from the ground at random. now i was in the section where all the soda was sold and i picked up a case of a box marked as a NEW BRAND. ive never seen it. but it was 0 calories per can.
i hauled it to the front of the store and suddenly customers spawned in but they were floating aimlessly. you were at the checkout and when i asked why you didnt come get me you said you couldnt find me. the only unchanging part of the store was the front. a clear path down the middle of the evergrowing departments marked the spot. we rung through and as i was leaving i saw this pack of chocolate.. no one was looking so i nabbed it and shoved it into my (your) jacket's pocket when you werent looking. i was horrified of the alarm going off. it didnt. we got back to your car and i was even more terrified. you insisted on driving around a bit more and maybe to go get lunch before we went home. id never turn that down but instead i begged you to just drive home.
you took me to get lunch anyways.
