nick's birthdäg cake (birthday cake) icecream is exactly what it says on the tin, birthday cake flavored icecream, now i'm not a big fan of birthday cake flavors, i think they're just a more waxxy vanilla, even bithday cake in it's cake form is quite disgusting to me. i picked this up because.... i don't know why i picked it up, actually. i was in the icecream section initally looking for pistachio icecream WHICH I FOUND but left behind for this. the packaging is cute, so...
what makes nick's so special (and a whole four dollars for one pint) is the fact that it is only 320 calories for the ENTIRE PINT as compared to 310 calories per 2/3 cup in the jeni's brand of birthday cake icecream... which obviously is a sweet deal. along with this, nick's is sweetened with allulose, as opposed to the stevia found in most low calorie sweets. now, i really like allulose. it tastes just like normal sugar (unless you eat it out the bag).

now with enough background, lets move onto the actual... nick's iccecream portion of this. so when i first took a spoon, the first thing i tasted was wax. birthday candles melted onto somehow unflavored buttercream frosting, but on the third bite i finally tasted cake. an important thing to note is that there are sprinkles DUMPED throughout the whole thing, they are certainly not liberal with their mixins, which goes appreciated by me, someone who thinks mixins are the best part of an icecream. somehow... this carton of icecream has turned me from an adamant birthday cake hater to a birthday cake....slight liker. i really liked this and finihed the whole thing off in one day. i even went back to pick up ANOTHER carton the same day, that's how damn good it is. a lot of people online knock nicks for not tasting like actual icecream but you cannot knock a dessert made with an artificial sweetner because it doesnt taste like the real thing. obviously it won't. it's not sugar. unlike some people ive seen, i wouldnt call this a waste of calories nor would i call it overpriced. i got mine for 4 dollars, which was 2 dollars less than the normal storebrand for the same amount. all in all i liked this, 4 biscuits out of five. song that this tasted like
